A repaint specialist,
as opposed to a production specialist, focuses on painting buildings
from a maintenance perspective rather than from a construction perspective.
A repaint specialist deals with buildings that have some deterioration
due to wear-and-tear or environmental factors from weather and moisture.
The sun is also detrimental to color retention. The combination
of sun and moisture is the most destructive. Many people believe
that the late afternoon sun, when at its hottest, is most destructive.
But in reality, it is the mid-morning sun, in conjunction with the
overnight moisture that does the most damage. Before the sun can
burn off all of the overnight moisture, that moisture heats up and
penetrates the paint finish and the substrate. This hot moisture
is exceptionally harmful to wood surfaces.
Production
painting companies do not approach painting from this perspective.
They focus mainly on sealing new wood surfaces, sanding them smooth,
filling the joints and nail holes, and applying a quality finish.
These companies usually work in conjunction with drywall companies,
carpenters, concrete companies and flatwork companies. Very little
patching is required because all of the surfaces are new. Most major
clean-up is handled with a clean-up company i.e., overspray removal
at windows.
The largest
difference between a repaint specialist and a production specialist
is you or your customer - the homeowner. We are professionals at
working around landscaping, automobiles (coming and going), patio
furniture, pets, finish concrete, clean windows, and door hardware.
We are not able to move as fast as a production painter. We must
protect all of these items from overspray damage as well as from
drips and damage from workmen.
At JFP Painting Service,
95% of all our contracts, even when painting retail/commercial centers,
requires such diligence. And we will be as diligent as possible
when we come to paint your community.JFP
Painting Service recognizes how important quality contractors are
to professional property management. We are not looking for a single
opportunity to work for you. We are interested in building a relationship
in which you, the customer, can contract a painter, time and time
again, that has your full trust and confidence. We truly see the
long-term big picture.
In addition to these
fundamentals, total quality improvement programs are essential to
any company looking to remain on the cutting edge. No matter how
consistent or organized our company may be, we always seek to become
more efficient, effective, organized and accommodating. We believe
this to not only create the best reputation, but also the most profit.
A company that is 99.9% efficient yields better returns than the
company that runs at 80% efficient. We constantly approach our company
from a position of growth; to reduce wasted time and materials,
to maximize efficiency, and to motivate our employees to care about
quality.
Strongly consider
JFP for all your exterior painting needs. You won't be disappointed.
